Lakshmi Priya, popularly known by her stage name, Kanaka (born 14 June 1973) is an Indian actress who worked in the South Indian film industry mostly in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. She was active in the South Indian movie industry from 1989 to 2000. She played the main female lead roles in some superhit Malayalam films like Godfather (1991), Vietnam Colony (1992) and Golanthara Vartha (1993).
